Do you know what happens this Friday? PRIDE NIGHT AT KINGS ISLAND! If you're in the Cincinnati area and you're looking for something fun, get your ass to Kings Island. Cincinnati Pride -- a success!

Oh my gosh, you guys.. seriously. Cincinnati Pride was SO amazing! I absolutely fell in love with the city and the people. Our booth was packed pretty much the entire time, people were very talkative, and the vender next to us kept supplying us with free water the entire event! We were even able to see the parade.. which NEVER happens when we go to pride.

Cincinnati, I want to say thank you for all of your awesomeness. I really hope that you tune into our station.. and please.. feel free to call into my show! I want to hear about YOUR experiences. When I left California, I always used to say that I left my heart in San Francisco.. but truly, I think I left my hearty in Cincinnati this past weekend. You all rocked.

An update about updates?

Hey guys! So, like.. I know I don't really "blog" anymore. I mean, I post.. but mainly just announcements. Totally my bad. I need to get back into actually BLOGGING. I've been so busy tying up loose ends here in California before I move to Cleveland this Saturday. My room feels so empty now. I was hanging out in my closet earlier.. it was the first time I've cleaned it out in so long. I never realized how big it was. ANYWAY.

So, I will definitely be blogging more. After the move things will get back to normal.. better-normal! If you listen to the show (I hope you do) you know that I was hired as the Director of Social Media for Q Nation FM. I'll also be interning and I'll have other duties while in Cleveland. This is such a great opportunity for me and hopefully for the station!

A Night in the Park is being revamped to become a studio productions. New additions to the show will include call-in guests, a toll-free number for all LISTENERS to call in, new segments and more! I'm also so happy to be an intern and co-host at Edge Radio with Viz & Miss Annie on a permanent basis.

So much is coming. The website will eventually be revamped. I am going to start a video blog.. a "behind the scenes" sort of deal. It will be available on this site and YouTube soon! Most of the fun antics on Edge Radio are IN the studio.. so you'll be able to see all the amazing footage! I'm so excited for all of this.

I have been so busy recently! Things are finally calming down and getting back to normal. Problem is, I don't LIKE normal. I like chaos, new things and experiences, and I think I work better under a lot of stress and pressure. That's why on this week's all new edition of A Night in the Park, I am going to DELIVER!

This will be my first show back in California, since last week's show was a replay of my first studio show in Cleveland. I have lots to dish about regarding my trip, news about my future and the future of the show, my new responsibilities at Q Nation and more. This is a show you do NOT want to miss!

TONIGHT! (03/24)

Tonight will be my last show from the QNF studio here in Cleveland for a while. It saddens me knowing I'll have to return to my little hometown. It's like taking a giant leap forward, and then being pushed down the stairs. BUT! I shall return!

I have a great show lined up for you guys tonight. Matt Mazzei, the creator of Rainbow Delegation, will be joining me as a guest at 11pm EST/8pm PST. He has started an AMAZING project and I can't wait to hear his story. Like Matt, I too am from Fresno.. so this will definitely be an interesting interview.

Topics tonight include pride, growing up gay in small towns, and .. I go after the Westboro Baptist Cult yet again. I also have a new segment for you all involving my music producer Z. He'll be calling in and knowing our history, we'll definitely be.. disagreeing on a few things.

Show starts at 10pm EST as always, and like last week, we'll be going for THREE hours! I will open the phone lines so that I can hear from you guys again. I can't wait.

Thank you all SO much!

Last night's show was a HUGE SUCCESS! It was the first time doing my show in a real studio and operating equipment and it went well.. but only because I have such a great teacher! Thanks Viz! We PACKED the chatroom -- lots of cute boys on webcam! Last night I also had my VERY FIRST guest phone in. Thank you so much Dr. Jallen Rix! You were amazing.

After some interesting segments I opened the phone lines and I got a mysterious call.. it was a long lost friend of mine surprising me on the air! It was so great to hear from you again, Rachel. Sean (who is becoming quite a popular regular in the QNF chatroom) also phoned in near the end to have a talk with me. Thanks sweetie!

The highlight of the night, however, was having my mommy call in to the show. We had a great time on the air reminiscing and goofing around. My listeners loved her! We will DEFINITELY have Momma Parker back.
